Alternating between worksheets

Is there a shortcut to quickly alternate between worksheets that aren't next
to each other? (e.g. similar to using ALT + TAB to alternate between windows?)

Thanks.

Adrian,

If you do Window New Window, it will open a second window for the same
file. Then you can set each window to a different sheet in the file. If
you have the "Windows in Taskbar" (Tools Options... View tab Show
section (first section)) setting turned on, then you can user the [Alt] +
[Tab] to switch between the 2.

Keep in mind, these instructions are for XL 2002 & 2003. Don't know 2007
yet. Search Help for "Windows in Taskbar".

HTH,

Conan

hi
you can right click on the sheet navigator in the lower left corner of the
sheet. you will get a pop up showing all your sheets. clck one to go to it.
if you have more than 15? sheets, there will be a "more sheets" options.
click that and you get a scrollable "text box?" with all of your sheets.
you can also do the ctlr+page up and ctrl+ page down like alt+tab to
navigate through the sheets.
may not apply to 2007. still stuck on xp here and i hear they have change A
LOT!

Adrian,

It is just to the left of the sheet tabs. There is 4 small buttons that
look kinda like previous track, play in reverse (if there was such a thing),
play, and next track on a CD/DVD player.

Adrian,

HTH = Hope this helps.

When ever I come across acronyms I don't know, I go to acronymfinder.com to
look them up (hopefully I spelled "acronym" correctly).

Hi FSt1,

I hope you're still watching this thread. What i found in 2007 is that this
works ~until~ you put protection on the worksheet, after that, Excel ignores
the control key and simply pages up or down.

Why oh why did they muck this up. I used this key combos ALL the time.
