Default Excel 2003 and 2007 in same PC

Hi All,
I hope this is the right address. I have both excel 2003 and excel 2007
installed in my PC.
I've configured the OS so the file will be opened in 2003 edition as follows:
- My computerToolsfolder optionsfile typesxls Change the default to be
open with excel 2003.
- Goto regedit and change value
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/207574
- Run hotfix from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938888

So from my computer an excel file opens in 2003. But from WSS 2, it opens in
2007.
How can I control that so it will open up in 2003 like in my local/network
drives?
Thanks a lot in advance
