Associated Spreadsheets
I referenced a spreadsheet with a master spreadsheet, that is, all the cells
are well linked. However, sometimes, I wanna delete some rows or columns from the master spreadsheet. As a result, the corresponding cells in the other spreadsheet show #REF! up rather than being deleted as I expected. |
Associated Spreadsheets
And what you have posted is one of the reasons why I never link spreadsheets.
Deleteing cells in one workbook does not delete the refence in the other workbook(s). If you intend to change one book you need fix the other book(s) also. There is no easy way around it and there is no way to know what other books might be linked back to the master. -- HTH...
