Automatically round small calculated values to zero

Excel (Office 2000 or Office XP) often gives a calculated cell value that
technically should be zero as a very small number instead, say with absolute
value less than 1e-15. Can I set a format so calculated values below a
certain size limit will be given as zero? Writing an IF statement in each
case is, of course, not a very practical solution. Thank you.
