Default rounding off numbers gives an E in pivot table

Hi,
In my Worksheet Column A I have figure e.x 325,255, 250,250 etc.I divided
them by 1000 in a seperate column and posted them back to column A and
formatted it to 0 decimal places so that the figures were like 325.26,250.25
etc. When I put them in a Pivot there was still a value like 2.3333E-12.
Could someone let me know a better way.
Thanks
