Custom cell formats combination of numbers and text
I tried to find solution from MS Excel Help but was not success. I hope you
can give me a help. I am trying to setup a spreadsheet at work to record our meeting location, such as LMK-597A or LMK-910. When I set up the format of the cell to "LMK-"0000. It works if the room has number only but it does not work if there is a letter. It will only give me 597A. What should I change on the format in order to allow me to input the letter. Thanks for your help in advance. |
