how to paste data containing html
 

i work for a retail company with ecommerce website and need to upload our
product data to an online shopping service.

i have a problem where all of the main item descriptions have formatting
such as <p <br <li ect.

i need to make universal changes to every item description.

FYI - the product data for each product is on ONE line.

when i do an edit - replace all in excel i am told the "Forlula is too
Long" then when i copy the data to a text editor, perform the changes and
paste it back to the spreadsheet, it pastes but actually uses the <P and
<BR tags as a webpage woul there fore spreading my data over numerous lines.

please help, ive got 5500 lines of data to do
