excel advent calendar
Hi Guys,
I thought I was being really clever and created an excel advent calendar where every day a new sales incentive for my staff appears (for a bit of fun at Christmas!) But it was using today() and then an if sum refering to this date with a conditional format of the cell to make the text appear... Doh! They quickly worked out they only needed to change the date on the computer to see all the incentives (fortunately not the real ones, as I thought I better try it first!) Without sending a new one every day, is there a better way to do this? |

Michelle,
How about locking the cell with the "=TODAY()" function in it and then protecting the worksheet so they can't change that cell? HTH, Conan "Michelle" wrote in message ... TODAY() will still change if the users change the date in Control Panel.
