Pivot Tables (% to total within groups)
I know how to get a % to total column or total row when working with
pivot tables but is there any way to get % of total within groups. For Example Regions: North, South, East and West with Sales Reps for each Region I have summarized with totals by Region and total. I can place the Sales reps sales as a percentage of the total column, but how do I in a pivot table express the sales as a percentage of the groups total I end up writing the formula myself and placing it next to pivot table. Pivot table should be able to do this and for the life of me and can't make it work Sum of sales region vendor Total % of Region East Linda 11 16.7% lori 55 83.3% East Total 66 100.0% North abc 10 38.5% dd' 10 38.5% def 1 3.8% geh 5 19.2% North Total 26 100.0% South mike 55 83.3% sam 11 16.7% South Total 66 100.0% west sam 15 25.0% soup 45 75.0% west Total 60 100.0% Grand Total |
