I have several columns of data created from a pivot table. I want the percent
of total for each row, and have been inserting a column next to each number to perform my calculation, and it seems like there should be an easier way. Is it possble to have excel do the calculation within the cell and display the percentage. Example: A B C Virus Cultures Positive Percent of All Cultures 1 Flu A 10 =B1/$B$5 2 Flu B 15 =B2/$B$5 3 RSV 20 =B3/$B$5 4 Adeno 2 =B4/$B$5 5 Total Cultures 500 For formating and ease of presentation I would love to have two columns that look like this: Virus Cultures Positive (percent) Flu A 10 (2%) Flu B 15 (3%) RSV 20 (4%) Adeno 2 (0.4%) As it is my worksheet has grown into a 48 column beast that is a little unwieldy. Thanks for any help or tricks! |
