Diagram that selects reference area automatically?

I have a to make a x,y-plot, where there in the reference area is not at
corresponding y-value after certain x value €“ the x value where the
calculation stops is variable and depending on other things. Because there in
the y-cells is a formula that is said to give "", when the calculations is
not to be made, the plot looks really funny.
Is it possible to do so that the reference area is automatically selected
where y0 or so that it will not plot x,y-values, where the y-value is a
formula that result that results in "" ? Or should it be another sign than ""
I should use?
Maybe macros can help me?

Instead of "", use NA().
