Drop Down List + Validation
 

Hi,
I would like to create a drop down list from another worksheet in the Same
workbook and need to select the same while creating validation list.

I know we can create using a name given to the list in another worksheet and
then use it as reference in validation window. We can create a list from same
work sheet while validation window is present however I would like to know
is there anyway that we can create a list while validation window is present
?.

You can't navigate to another sheet or create a named range while the
data validation dialog box is open.

If you describe what you're trying to accomplish, maybe someone can
suggest a different solution.
