XL 2007 Toolbar Disaster
Hello,
Recently purchased a new computer with XL 2007 installed on it. All of the keyboard short-cuts I have grown accustomed to over my 10+ years of Excel are all now changed. For example, to paste values, I did, Alt- E-S-V, but now I just get a funky error message. Worse, even when I try to search with my mouse I still can't even find the command to paste special!!! How do I make the toolbar / menubar like it use to be??? |

In time you will get use to it. But here are sites that offer classic
toolbar addins http://www.toolbartoggle.com/ (I have used this and quite liked it) http://in.geocities.com/shahshaileshs/addins.htm http://www.addintools.com/english/menuoffice/ best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme Microsoft Excel MVP www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "Native" wrote in message ... You're doing something wrong. The old keyboard shortcuts are still
available in Excel 2007, and Paste Special is available in the context menu of every cell. The new shortcut is Alt+H+V+S+V. I have this file available that shows the letter that is applicable to each command: http://www.44lbs.net/ilia/ExcelRibbonShortcuts.pdf On Nov 15, 11:45 pm, Native wrote: Hello, Recently purchased a new computer with XL 2007 installed on it.
