How do you create a complex footer (e.g. title block) in Excel?

I would like to create a complex footer (e.g. one that simulates a standard
drafting drawing title block) that will print at the bottom of each sheet.
Essentially I need the ability to repeat a group of columns at the bottom of
the sheet.

Has anyone achieved this?

Thank you

No way to do this
You might want to try linking the worksheet to a Word doc and putting
complex footer in the Word doc

Being basically lazy, it this workbook was in my control (ie, not being
given to other to use) I would just print the footer from Word and re-inset
the paper and print the Excel doc with appropriate bottom margin setting
best wishes

How do you create a complex footer (e.g. title block) in Excel

Hello Bernard,

Unfortunately I cannot take this approach. This document must remain self
contained as it will be passed between companies through their document
control process.

We are considering creating some custom VBA code that will generate a footer
on each page. However, this poses the issues of long term support and
releasing our intellectual property to other companies (we'll have to deal
with this).

Our other thought is to lock the page sizes and to intersperse "slave
footers" throughout the large document. The slave footers would be linked to
a master footer on a separate tab of the document. This solution has the
advantage of being self contained and relatively easy to maintain.

Thx,
Garry
