Can key tips be left on in without repeated use of the ALT key?
 

Nope. If keytips were always on you'd lose use of the keys associated with
commands. For instance, H would always activate the home tab.

Too bad. Navigation would be more efficient if the "first" letters were
underlined, as in other programs, including MSOFC03
