Default Text stored in a cell is displayed as a string of "#####..."

What do I need to do to get the stored text to display properly?

I agree, expand your column width...maybe. But that only displays when the
cell is formated as a number or similar, so make sure that your cell is
formated for Text or General. If the General Setting causeing the same
result, switch to Text.

Excel has a problem with string lengths between 255 and 1024 characters.

Format the cells to General instead of Text and the ####### should go away.

Ray

OP stated it was text.

Only numbers need wider column if showing ######

See my other post in same thread.
