How to stop last number from changing to 0
HELP PLEASE!!!
I'm using excel 2000 and when ever i paste a number that is longer than 15 numbers the last number is changed to 0. If i type that same number the last numer will be whatever number i typed. It only seems to change whenever i paste the number. Even if i do paste special and choose text the last number is still 0 or if i just delete the 0 and type the last number in it still changes to the 0 even when the cell is formatted for text. If anyone has any suggestions i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!! |

Save your hair.
Format the cell as Text before entering the value or precede the number with an apostrophe (single quote) Excel only handles 15 digit values. -- Gary''s Student - gsnu200755 "Pulling My Hair" wrote: HELP PLEASE!!!
