In Excel 2007 how do I format cells to show in the currency format (i.e.
$___.__)

How to format cells in Excel 2007 (i.e. currency format)?
 

Select the range, press Ctrl+1 (numeral one) to open the format dialog,
click on Number, and find the format you like, or enter a custom format.
