Assume you have a list in H2:H10 that is displayed in a validation dropdown,
if you do viewtoolbarscontrol toolbox and drag the combobox unto the sheet, then right click it and select properties the properties window opens, look for ListFillRange in the left section and put H2:H10 in the box next to the right of ListFillRange. You also need a linked cell where you want the selection. You can also change font size etc using this.
