Toolbar Questions
Can I set up my own custom toolbar, or can I only set buttons up on the Quick
Access Toolbar? Also, in Excel 2000, I was able to adjust the look of a toolbar button and copy button images from one button to another. Is there any way to do that in Excel 2007? I can't find one. Thanks! |

Hi Mary
There are a few pages on my site that you can read I add a new one yesterday about the button images in the QAT But building your own tab on the ribbon is maybe the best thing that you can do http://www.rondebruin.nl/ribbon.htm For a table driven menu in the QAT see http://www.rondebruin.nl/qat.htm -- Regards Ron de Bruin http://www.rondebruin.nl/tips.htm "Mary Fetsch" wrote in message ... I think that possibly the best way to get a custom toolbar set up in Excel
2007 is using Peter Schmid's Ribbon Customizer: http://pschmid.net/index.php There is a free version that will allow you to set up entire groups in a separate tab so that you can put all your favorite groups on one. The Pro version (not free, but reasonably priced) gives you the ability to go down to the individual function within a group level: "The newest ... version of RibbonCustomizer lets you now use your own custom images as icons on the Ribbon. The only limitation is that you cannot assign custom images to Microsoft commands. But you can assign your own images to all your macro buttons."
