problem with template
 

I am working with my first template (xlt) in Excel 2003. Really seems to
meet my needs but one problem...sometime in the last save or
modification...when I open the template file now...another file (xls) also
opens 'behind' it...I can see both if I view side by side or un-maximize
the widow?

How do I get ride of this second file...I didn't add it on purpose...but it
is an existing file on the computer ? I've tried closing it and then
resaving the xlt file...but it reappears upon startup ?
