Navigating drop down menus
Hi,
I have a spreadsheet with drop downs that have literally hundreds of items in them. Is there any way to facilitate the navigation of the list instead of having to scroll through the hundreds of items? I know about typing the first letter in the cell and clicking on the arrow, but that still doesn't completely solve my problem. Any help would be appreciated, Thanx Srain |

Are the dropdowns created using Data Validation?
DV dropdowns have no autocomplete feature. You must use a combobox in conjunction with the DV list See Debra Dalgleish's site for instructions on programming http://www.contextures.on.ca/xlDataVal10.html Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Fri, 2 Nov 2007 05:46:00 -0700, srain001 wrote: Hi, I have a spreadsheet with drop downs that have literally hundreds of items in them.
