Displaying Cell Contents in Another Workshheet Based on Formatting
Using Excel 2003.
I have a list of names in a range of cells, one name in the range is formatted as italic. Is it posbile to have the italicized name in the range be displayed in another worksheet based on the fact it is formatted differently (italics) than the other cells in the range? Thank you in advance |

Not exactly, but if you can use conditional formatting on your original data to italicize it, you can use the same criteria to show it on another sheet using an IF function. But if this is just manually italicized, then no, but if you think carefully, there will be a reason why you italicize the cell. e.g if after a certain date or over a certain value, etc. These can all be conditionally formatted and also displayed on another sheet based on a criteria -- HTH Nick Hodge Microsoft MVP - Excel Southampton, England DTHIS web: www.nickhodge.co.uk UK Excel User Conference In Cambridge November 28th - December 1st 2007 Register Now @ http://www.exceluserconference.com/UKEUC.html "Mark Watlock" wrote in message ...
