How can I view Excel documents when I don't have Excel myself? Is there an
Excel-Reader software?

There is an excel viewer that can be downloaded from MS, go to MS site and
do a search for excel viewer

Microsoft offers a free xl2003 viewer at:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/of...347961033.aspx

Maybe a free spreadsheet program would work for you:
http://www.openoffice.org, a 60-65 meg download or a CD
