Formatting problem?

I inherited a workbook where all the numbers display differently. For
example a zero is wider than a one, so numbers with multiple digits don't
line up. I have tried every format option including clearing everthing. It
is obvious that this "conditional spacing" is set at a higher level but I
have been unable to discover where to change it. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.

Try using a fixed-space font, like Courier New
