Getting word wrap to work in a merged cell
Excel 2003, SP3. I have 2 horizontal cells merged into one. I have "Wrap
Text" turned on. However, when I type text longer than the cell length, it does not expand vertically to show the text. It just truncates the text in the cell display. If I unmerge the cells, the wrap works fine, the row expands. The row height is not set to a fixed value. I have tried Autofit with no help other than reduce all merged cells to one row high. Is there a way to fix this?? Or is this just a bug in Excel. |
