I am using a workbook contianing 5 worksheets, each sheet is protected with a
password that I am unable to acquire because the person who created the workbook no longer works for our company. I am trying to put formulas on a couple of the pages but because it is protected I am unable to do so. Thanks Lance |

Thanks for what?
You seemed to have figured it out for yourself. You can't enter formulas on a protected sheet. A password is required to unprotect. If the question is "how can I crack a sheet protection password", see this site or google for password cracker. http://www.mcgimpsey.com/excel/removepwords.html Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Wed, 31 Oct 2007 13:01:02 -0700, Popeye1am wrote: I am using a workbook contianing 5 worksheets, each sheet is protected with a password that I am unable to acquire because the person who created the workbook no longer works for our company.
