Spreadsheets referencing Obsolete Drive Mappings

How can I read all of my Office documents to check for links that use drive
mappings that are now obsolete? I would like to get a count. If I could do a
substitute, that would be even better.

To get a count of the files, you can just use Window's search feature.

In XP - go to start -Search in the file name box type *.xls and
then in the box where it says a "Word or phrase in a file" enter the
drive path, e.g. C:\

This will show you all the files you need to modify.

If there aren't many, just open each one up, go to Edit-Links and
then update the reference to refer to the new drive. This will update
all of the references in that workbook for you.
