Import data from Excel into Outlook journal
I have exported data from the Outlook Journel into an Excel spreedsheet and
now want to import it back into Outlook journal. I have tried using the spread sheet save as three kinds of files ( xls. cvs. and txt. file formats) saving only the one sheet with data formatted from the orignal export. Outlook will not import any of these into the journal. |

You should be able to do this as an xls file but you are best to highlight the data and name the range first (You can simply click in the name box, top left by the formula bar and type the name and press enter. now save and close the Excel file, go into Fileimport... in outlook and select the xls and then it should offer the range name, select the Calendar folder and map the fields if necessary -- HTH Nick Hodge Microsoft MVP - Excel Southampton, England DTHIS web: www.nickhodge.co.uk blog (non tech): www.nickhodge.co.uk/blog "Derek Worley 19" <Derek Worley wrote in message ...
