Excel Formulas stop working

Hi,
I have several Excel Spreadsheets, that no longer represent the formulas.
When sheet was created, formula''s worked, now when I open the spreadsheet,
the forumulas ignore new data input and formula results do not change. Very
odd.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Thanks for your help!

Check the Calculation mode to ensure that it is automatic. From the Tools
menu, choose Options and in that dialog the Calculation tab. Make sure it is
set to Automatic.

You've likely been bitten by the Calculation switch. It gets switched off (set to manual).
Look for the word "Calculate" on the status bar. If there, your formulas are yielding old
answers. It ain't calculating. Tools - Options - Calculate tab has the Auto/Manual
setting. Be sure it's set to Automatic. There are scores of threads describing the problem,
so I won't regurgitate it.
