Default Mortgage Template

I am using the Mortgage template in Excell 2007. The priod of the mortgage
is 15 1/2 years. The template is not accepting fractions of a year in the
period box, example if I enter 15.5. Is there a work around that anyone know
of? After all, not all mortgae periods are whole numbers.
