#N/A is returned if Excel doesn't find an exact match when you use the FALSE
argument. Do you think you should not be getting the error or just want to hide the #N/A? Add the ISNA trap if you don't want to see the #N/A =IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP(D107,ALLOCATION!$C$4:$D$131,2,FAL SE)),"",VLOOKUP(D107,ALLOCATION!$C$4:$D$131,2,FALS E)) Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Sat, 27 Oct 2007 12:54:00 -0700, katte wrote: I am trying to duplicate a sheet with a formula but some of the cells have this error message. =VLOOKUP(D107,ALLOCATION!$C$4:$D$131,2,FALSE). Upon second look at your formula, I don't understand what you're looking for.
Where is the formula entered? Your lookup value cell D107 is part of your lookup table range.
