combining data from different rows into 1 column
I am trying to adjust an excel spreadsheet to take multiple rows that involve
the same ID number and merge them onto a single row. For example, the sheet that I am given will have data in this format: 93900 30303E Math 93900 40404E English 93900 50505E Science 94911 30304E Math II 94911 40405E English II 94911 50506E Science II Where the first column is the ID number, the second column is the section number and the third column is the class description. I am trying to get the data into this format: 93900 30303E Math 40404E English 50505E Science 94911 30304E Math II 40405E English II 50506E Science II where each row combines the section numbers and course descriptions for similar ID numbers. Does anybody have any suggestions? |
