find/verify circular references

I suspect that my worksheet has a circular reference because every time I
recalculate it, the value of certain cells changes.

Complicating this is the fact that excel seems not to be warning me about
circular references at all now. I can put =A2 in cell A1 and =A1 in cell A2,
and the customary warning about circular references doesn't pop up at all.

Any suggestions?

You can make the warning revive:
ToolsOptionsCalculation tab, uncheck Iteration

If the Iteration option on the Calculations tab of the Options dialog is
checked, you will not receive any warnings about circular references.

Thank you both. That allowed me to track down and eliminate the circular
