Excel 2007 Pivot Table Sorting
I had 2 columns in the row data area of my pivot table. The columns
contained names as Last name and First name. The Pivot table was sorting a name May to the top. I think Excel 2007 was interpreting the data and sorting it as a month. I had to combine the last name, first name MI together so it would sort properly. Would you consider this a Bug? |

You can turn that feature off:
Right-click the pivot table, and click PivotTable Options On the Totals & Filters tab, remove the check mark from 'Use Custom Lists When Sorting' Click OK ceh4702 wrote: I had 2 columns in the row data area of my pivot table.
