In conditional formatting do you know what formula i can use for e.g the cell
sheet1! A1 to change colour to orange if there is an "x" in the cell sheet2! B1 ? thanks |

Name Sheet2 B1 something, just select it, click in the name box (name box is above column A's header) or use insertnamedefine and type a descriptive name like (note the underscore at the start) _Sheet2B1 2. If you want the conditional formatting test to refer to a range on another
worksheet, you must use a Defined Name to refer to the cell on the other sheet. For example, assign the name TheCell to Sheet2!A1.
