can't open file
hi
is this a xl guestion? or a vista question? or a hardward quiestion? what version xl do you have? I have not experience with vista(still stuck on xp) but i have A+ training(not certified yet. working). why did you set your old drive (assuming internal drive) as an external drive? Vista???. more info please. and since you have vista, i may not be able to answer your question but with more info, so one may. regards FSt1 "auntwanda" wrote: recently bought new pc with Vista. Don't know if it is xl, vista, or hardware question. I have MS Excel 2003.
Old PC stopped working, bought a new one with vista, saved the old hard drive with all my files, and connected to new PC as an external drive. Could not connect the old hard drive to the new PC because of a different "connection point" (don't know what it is called, hope you know what I mean). Have had lots of problems with "sharing" the files on old hard drive, but eventually have been able to access most files so far, except this one. As you can tell, don't have a lot of computer knowledge, so any help will be appreciated. -- WW "FSt1" wrote: hi is this a xl guestion? or a vista question? or a hardward quiestion? what version xl do you have?
