I would like to create a tracking sheet for mail recieved
Start a new workbook (in Excel). Name a sheet mail tracking. Name
some columns - Date received, Postmark Date, Recepient, Addressee, Size, Weight, Content, Check Amount - whatever you want to track. As you receive mail, fill in the corresponding columns with appropriate data. Come up with a designation for missing information, or items not applicable (check amount is not applicable when there's no check). Use a single row for each mail item. If you want, insert a row at the beginning of your sheet, call it ID or something. Use it to number mail items, so that you can look them up later if needed. Hope that helps.
