Hyperlink Help

I have used the Insert Hyperlink feature to create hyperlinks back to various
word documents from Excel. The hyperlinks seem to work great when I create
them and even for a couple days after that. Then when I use them again I get
the
following error message

'Can not find the specified file'

I can recreate the link but the same thing happens it works great for a
couple days and then stops working.

Any ideas?

The best way to protect hyperlinks is to use the:
=HYPERLINK() function.

=HYPERLINK("file:///C:\Documents and
Settings\User\Desktop\Book2.xls#Sheet2!B9")

Try this form. I have never found it to fail.
