I am trying to calcualte the average of a group of 3 cells that will make up
15% of an overall score. The remaining 3 cells (scores) will make up the remaining percentages in this order, 25%, 30%, and 30%. I'm trying to use AVERAGEA and other AVERAGE formulas but I can't figure it out. |

I have three scores of a sample spreasheet that I need the average for and
that average will count towards 15% of an overall score. The remaining 3 scores will compile the remaining 85%, broken down as follows, 25%, 30%, amd 30% If Average is not necessary, what formula can I use to calculate this? That's what I'm trying to tell you. You don't need to "average the 3
scores". The each of the first 3 is 5% of the overall score. Averaging is a wasted step, you don't need to calculate it. So the six scores are the make up the overall scores as stated (5%, 5%, 5%, 25%, 30%, 30%) racerx66 wrote: I have three scores of a sample spreasheet that I need the average for and that average will count towards 15% of an overall score.
