Compatability of Excel 2007 files
I want to install Excel 2007, but I create and share spreadsheets with users
who will be using Excel 2003. Are there any compatability issues that I should know about? |

Hi rick
You can work with files in the 97-2003 format or in one of the new 2007 formats. If possible keep 2003 on your system so you can work/test in both versions -- Regards Ron de Bruin http://www.rondebruin.nl/tips.htm "RICK AT AUGUSTACOOP" wrote in message ... You may want to keep both versions installed on your pc.
You can develop in xl2007 and test in xl2003. But if the workbook you want to share is complex, you may want to continue to develop in xl2003. I don't think you could go wrong by developing in the same version that the user's have.
