Cross referencing on tables
Hello
I am having difficulties with getting an answer from a table which requires a cross referencing system, e.g on the x axis I have numbers from 1-10 and the same on the y axis and when you say 2 down and 4 across I require the contents in that box to be displayed in another table. I am in no way an expert on excel, in fact a novice and they may be a simple and obvious solution, any help would be greatly appreciated. Rich B |
Cross referencing on tables
Checkout the OFFSET() function in Excel Help. It does exactly what you want.

Have a look at INDEX and MATCH in Excel Help - these are often
combined to give you what you want. Hope this helps.
