Connect cell to a numbet on the Internet
 

Hello guys,

Somone told me is possible to connect a cell in excel to a number on the
internet, and thus the value of the cell to change according to the number on
the internet.

Can this be done? Because i've searched the web and i did not find anything.

Hi,

You may mean importing data, if so try this:-

Select a cell and then
Data|Import external data|New Web query
A window pops up into which you could paste something like
http://www.x-rates.com/

Click Go and you will be sent to a site that gives exchange rates. Select a
table you want to import and then click import and your query will be
populated to your worksheet.

Rift click the query and click Data range properties to set up the refresh
times.
