I have MS office 2000. How can I unprotect a range of cells in a protected
worksheet?

Unprotect a range of cells in a protected worksheet

Step1: Before protecting select a range,
Step2: Format - Cell - Protection tab
Step3: Unselect "Locked" and click "OK"
Now you can Protect worksheet
