Selective legend in Chart?
Is there any way to have a selective legend in a chart?
That is, a legend that identifies some lines, but not others. In particular, I do not want to identify the trendlines; just the actual data curves. |

You can remove legend entries. Click once on the legend, then click once on
a legend entry you want to remove (not on the colored shape, just on the label part), then press Delete. To reinstate a legend entry, you need to delete the legend and add it back, which creates a new legend with all entries. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ wrote in message oups.com... Works great! Thanks. I had tried that before posting, to no avail. My touchpad is "touchy". But when it did not work the first time, I ass-u-me-d the feature did not work as I expected. Wrong! To reinstate a legend entry, you need to delete the legend and add it back, which creates a new legend with all entries. Good to know. Thanks again. |
