i loose the zero infront of phone numbers how do i get it back

format the cells as text before you put the number in

alternativly but a space in the number say after the first 5 digits

You could preformat the cell as text (format|Cells|number tab|Text).
You could prefix the entry with an apostrophe: '1231234123
Or maybe you could give the cell a custom format:
Format|cells|Number tab|Special|Phone number
or
Format|cells|Number tab|custom
0000000000
(for as many digits as you need)

if you already have a list of numbers stored and dont want to reenter all of
them

if numbers are in cell A1 , in cell c1, ="0"&a1

then copy the formula down to put your ) back in place

format cells c as text first
