How to freeze a chart?
Hello,
You know how you can freeze the top row? Yeah. I'd like to freeze a chart that I have on the sheet, so that I can scroll the data, while the chart is locked in place. I am using Office 2007. Thanks. |
How to freeze a chart?
Maybe you could just place the chart in the frozen row area?

Interesting! It does for me with Excel 2003; surprising that it doesn't in
2007. -- David Biddulph "Frank Rizzo" wrote in message ... Dave Peterson wrote: Maybe you could just place the chart in the frozen row area? That does not work. Why doesn't it work?
Maybe you can use window|new window and window|arrange (tiled, then resize the way you like) And keep the chart visible in one of the windows. When you're done with the multiple windows, you can select the one you want to close and hit ctrl-w. It probably works, but you need to put the chart above the seam, so it isn't
on any scrolling regions. I suspect when you say "doesn't work" you really mean "isn't satisfactory". - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "Frank Rizzo" wrote in message ...
