Excel closes when I use bold formatting and sometimes when I add cell
borders. Any idea how to prevent this? Thanks.

If you change to a different printer (or printer driver), does it work ok?

What version of Excel and what operating system version?

Recently there have been similar reprorts, none of which has individually
attracted much attention. Perhaps if we can identify the commonalities, we
can arrive at a completely reproducible set of conditions to help put this
bug on MS's radar screen.
