Roll back toolbar
I have a friend who is new to spreadsheets. He bought Office Home and
Student 2007. I was trying to help him on some basics but am totally frustrated with all of the complicated buttons, icons and other things way to advanced for him. I am used to the old reliable "File, Edit, View, Insert, Format, Tools, Data, Window and Help" primary toolbar and a simple second one with a few helpful icons. Can this be done in Office 2007 or should I just install a much older version for him? |
Roll back toolbar
You're in a tough spot.
That ribbon was made for your friend. It's supposed to make learning the Office programs much easier for the new user. If I were you, I'd bite the bullet and use the ribbon (it'll make you tougher, too!). Heck, you may even find out that you like the new interface (well, after a few hours).
