probably a print driver issue rather than an Excel issue.
Re install the print driver

thanks for the suggestion, reinstalling not working; probably doing
something wrong again. two sided printing works fine for single excel sheet
and for whole document of word. when i select two excel sheets on which
print areas have been defined, i expect print area on sheet 2 to print behind
printed area of sheet 1. the two defined areas just print individually. i

I misunderstood your original question. Each sheet will print as a separate
job and will not do double sided for multiple worksheets only multiple pages
in one worksheet..
A work around is to make a maste print worksheet which has the appropriate
info from each of the other sheets. this will double side.

May I post a related question? yesterday I succesfully printed a double
sided 4 page excel document with an HP psc 750 (multifunction) printer.
Today I can't do it. The print window looks different and no longer has the
provision for selecting "two sided printing". I didn't comprehend the
previous solution. Thank for any advice. Xerxes
